Six pairs of hands touch a LAPRINO bag before it reaches a shelf. It starts at the cutting table, the quietest room in the workshop and the one where the most is decided — a panel cut off-grain will pull crooked no matter how well it is sewn afterwards. Then the machines: loud, old, and maintained the way you maintain something you intend to keep. Stress points are bar-tacked, not just back-stitched. Straps are boxed and cross-stitched where they meet the body. Nothing here is fast, and that is not a constraint we are apologising for — slow is the reason the seams hold.
